Angelica Maria Vale Hartman (also called professionally Angelica Vale) is a Mexican American actor, singer-impersonator, comedian and radio host. She was born in Mexico City, where she was raised by the comedian Raul Vale. She is credited with launching La Balada Ranchera, a popular genre of music that hit the charts in 1973. It also caused Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to have sold 2 million albums across the United States. She was introduced to Venezuelan comic and singer Raul Vale in the year 1974.
